This role involves onboarding and integrating data from MongoDB into Power BI to support a cybersecurity vulnerability and asset repository. The ideal candidate will have experience programmatically connecting MongoDB to Power BI and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SLC). Additionally, experience with Python and scripting for data automation, and integrating Active Directory groups into asset roles is required.Responsibilities : Data Integration and Onboarding : Programmatically integrate and onboard data from MongoDB into Power BI.Develop and maintain data connections to ensure data integrity and consistency.Automate data loads using Python and scripting to streamline processes.Dashboard Development : Design and build intuitive user interface dashboards in Power BI for cybersecurity vulnerability and asset repository.Create dynamic and interactive visualizations to present complex data in an easily understandable format.Active Directory Integration : Integrate Active Directory groups into asset roles within Power BI.Manage user permissions and access controls based on Active Directory roles.Documentation and Training : Develop comprehensive documentation for data integration processes, dashboard usage, and maintenance.Create training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and stakeholders.Software Development Lifecycle : Apply a strong understanding of the SLC to manage project timelines and deliverables.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business requirements and objectives.Requirements : Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Experience : 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on Power BI and MongoDB integration.Proven experience programmatically integrating MongoDB data into Power BI (beyond using Power BI Desktop).Hands-on experience with Python and scripting for data automation.Technical Skills : Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and M query language.Strong knowledge of MongoDB and its integration with other systems.Experience with Python and scripting for data processing and automation.Understanding of Active Directory and role-based access controls.Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SLC) methodologies.Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.Preferred Qualifications : Certifications in Power BI, MongoDB, or related technologies.Experience in the cybersecurity domain or with vulnerability management systems.Benefits : Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement savings plan with company matching.Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.Flexible working hours and remote work options.Powered by JazzHR
