What are the responsibilities and job description for the QUALITY CONTROL ASSEMBLY INSPECTOR position at Precise Tool & Manufacturing Inc.?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Promote and support the requirements and principles of the Precise Quality Management System and AS9100.
Visual inspection of machined parts to customer requirements (deburred properly).
Final Inspection prior to assembly operation in accordance with the job work instruction requirements.
Basic inspection of machined parts when required.
Receiving of product from outside operations for inspection and acceptance.
Work with production schedules to meet customers’ demands.
Communicate with all departments pertaining to quality issues.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Basic understanding of the AS9100D Quality Management System.
Attention to detail is required.
Understanding of Precise Tool QA-8.5.1-003 – Hardware Installation Checklist process.
Understanding of Precise Tool QA-8.6-008 – Ready for Assembly approval process.
Understanding of Precise Tool QA-8.6-006 – Approved / Acceptance process.
Basic blueprint reading and understanding of work instructions per job requirements.
Use of standard Quality measurement tools such as calipers, micrometer, and dial indicators.
Communication skills are of an up most importance. Being able to communicate inspection results effectively is a must have for this position.
Above average math skills a plus.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma.
Minimum 5 years of experience working in Quality preferred.
Understanding of Work Instructions.
Machining experience a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the metal industry and or parts manufacturing industry preferred.
Salary : $39,500 - $46,000
