Precision Advanced is currently seeking a CNC Grinder to join our team! We are looking for an individual with at least 5 years of OD/ID grinding experience, to work on our night shift, Monday-Thursday, 4:30pm – 3:30am.

Position: CNC Grinder - OD/ID Grinding (Night Shift)
Position Responsibilities
- Operation of DMG Mori (Taiyo Koki Vertical Mate 85 NEW in 2024) with GriPSII conversational CNC software (we are able to train if haven’t used this controller)
- Capable in programming at the control, set up, wheel setup & try out
- Ability to hold tight tolerances & perform quality checks
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition to safety regulations
- Maintain efficient clock in & off on part movement form along with job traveler
- Maintain quality of machined parts with NCR'S Less than 2%
- Must have full understanding of GD&T
- Work with machinist co-workers, Project Engineers, and Shop Foreman to solve problems
Skill Requirements
- Must have 5 years’ experience in OD/ID grinding
- Must be familiar with material handling equipment & overhead cranes
- Must be able to program at control
- Must have full understanding of GD&T
Schedule
- Monday – Thursday
- 4:30pm – 3:30am (11 hours)
- No weekends
