We have an immediate opening for an LCD Assembly Technician Level 2 at Precision Display Repairs (PDR) Camarillo, CA facility.
JOB PURPOSE
The technician performs visual inspections, functional tests, diagnoses, and repair of LCD (liquid crystal display) units. Job tasks include mechanical disassembly, repair, and re-assembly of defective displays using PDR’s repair procedures, tooling and equipment.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions:
- Mechanical aptitude and hands on experience
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language and to follow verbal and written instructions, procedures, and instructions
- Good vision and manual dexterity
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Experience in a deadline-oriented environment
- Basic soldering skills
- Ability to read technical drawings/wire lists is a plus
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 10 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Work Location: PDR facility in Camarillo, CA.

Experience: At least 5 years electronic assembly experience in Operations, Production or Service, or related field preferred.
