We have an immediate need for a Material Support Specialist at our PAG Atlanta, Lake Mirror Road facility.
JOB PURPOSE
The Material Support Specialist ensures the timely supply of materials for repair operations by managing inventory, processing procurement orders, and coordinating with vendors. This role includes performing inspections, conducting cycle counts, generating quotes for non-routine repairs, and maintaining accurate records of orders and costs.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform incoming receiving inspections
- Perform inventory Cycle Counts
- Responsible for the continuous supply of materials to one or more repair areas (Allocate and deliver components to technicians)
- Generate quotes for NON-routine (Abnormal) internal Repair and Overhaul work orders
- Materials procurement and processing of outside vendor repair materials, submit purchase and repair orders
- Maintain and build vendor relationships on incoming materials and requests
- Manages email submissions and orders placed from vendor portals for procurement
- Collects and maintains repair orders updates costs and to review and modify both orders and quotes.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 20 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Work Location: PAG Office on Lake Mirror Road building in Atlanta, GA.
Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: At least 2 years of related experience in Aviation Industry, or a related field preferred.
