We are currently have a position open for a Quality Inspector at Aviation Welding Technology in Uxbridge, MA
JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking motivated candidates for this position which involves receiving, inspecting components for repair and overhaul, generating pre-established technical documentation and shop travelers. Data entry experience is a plus! but not required.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions:
- Receiving incoming Components for Repair / Overhaul
- Generating documentation, technical data and shop travelers using customer repair orders as guidance.
- Perform Visual and Dimensional Inspections using manual inspection tools to determine serviceability
- Perform Floor Inspections on various machines / ensuring tolerances are met
- Maintain FAA Documentation / Record keeping
- Prepare Customer Repair / Overhaul Quotes
- Perform Final Inspections / Generate FAA / DOT Documentation
- Assist in Maintaining FAA/DOT Quality System

- This position may require walking primarily on a level surface for periods of time as well as reaching above shoulder heights or below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday
Equipment Operated: Basic measuring equipment
Work Location: Aviation Welding Technologies, LLC 73 Commerce Drive, Uxbridge, MA
Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
