We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a understanding for basic maintenance repairs, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment and facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally while providing excellent customer service to residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot issues using tools such as an Ohmmeter and schematics.
- Conduct facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Execute residential painting projects as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and timely completion of tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing resident concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment or systems as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various systems.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including the use of logic controllers.
- Experience in facilities maintenance is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with residents and staff.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Proficient in English for effective communication within the team and with residents.
- Previous experience in welding is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
