FINISHER/SPRAYER – Swing Shift hours 3pm – 11:30pm
$25 - $28 per hour with experience 10% shift differential pay
Precision Cabinets, a Custom Cabinet Manufacturing business in Brentwood, Northern CA is looking for dedicated, skilled individuals with spraying experience for full time job openings on our swing shift operation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Apply finish, paint, topcoat, sealer and/or dye to doors, cabinets and moldings with consistent quality and uniformity. Adjust coatings according to the current operating temperature while maintaining proper fluid and air mix pressures. Maintain spray guns and pumps through daily cleaning and proper lubrication.
Qualifications:
- Accept direction and adhere to company processes with regard to our application and quality standards
- Must be able to meet tight deadlines when needed
- Hold spray gun continuously during 8 or 9 hour shift
- Stand and move during full 8 or 9 hour shift
- Positive attitude, organized, detail oriented and customer focused
- Continually aware of safe work practices and working safe at all times
- Provide excellent quality workmanship at all times
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to work overtime if necessary (one hour daily and Saturdays)
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience working in Finishing department
- Minimum 1 year experience spraying finish on wood products - furniture/cabinetry
- Working knowledge of stains, paint, toners, sealers and topcoats including lacquers, varnishes and catalization and reduction techniques
- Use of piston pumps, diaphragm pumps, pressure pots, cup guns, airless, air assisted, HVLP and conventional spray equipment helpful but not required
- Ability to repair spray guns and hose assemblies
- Ability to match colors (touch up and stains)
Compensation: $25-$28 per hour based on experience 10% shift differential pay
