Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with procedures
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, and Cerner
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
- Assist with family planning services and provide education on contraception options
- Monitor and care for neonatal ventilator patients
- Provide care for toddlers, including administering age-appropriate vaccinations and conducting developmental assessments
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols in sterile processing areas
- Perform basic IV therapy and suture removal
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of [Virginia]
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and standards of practice
