POSITION: 3rd Shift - 10:00 pm-6:00 am with a paid lunch. ___________________________________________________________
TITLE: Die Set-up Operator
REPORTS TO: Tooling Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Locate and assemble components based on the FR and QEI/PEI instructions
- Clean and organize work to 6 S standards along with replenishing inventory areas at the end of every shift
- Restock shelves when components are available
- Place components in proper outlined area
- Take empty carts to injection queue area and take full carts from injection queue area back to set-up
- When assembly cart is full, take the cart to the designated cell staging area
- Examine component quality as you use them, place any unacceptable components in appropriate scrap bin
- Remove flash from all components before use
- Fill in small missing sections of wax and fix small deformations of wax on components
- Work in a safe manor at all times
- Able to pull up AQCS and properly locate instructions
- Fill out accurate time sheets and inventory data
Principal Area of Responsibility:
Responsible for assembling components together and repairing components so they are able to be used as well as maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This includes putting components in correct area, moving empty carts to their designated area, and cleaning the work station.
Physical and Mental Demands:
- Physical ability to pick up and move injected materials
- Understanding of aspects of the component set-up process.
- Ability to communicate with leads.
- Physical ability to move carts of material.
