Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency. The U.S. export control regulations define a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), and certain categories of Asylees and Refugees.

Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assume project leadership and full responsibility to specify, install, integrate, and maintain instrumentation and plant automation systems
- Where designated as Systems Manager, ensure compliance to Software Quality Assurance (SQA) when programming or maintaining PLC, HMI, or C#
- Author, edit or compile all Technical Procedures pertaining to operation of new or updated software systems.
- Ability to apply computer science skills in developing manufacturing real-time data acquisition and control systems
- Interface with Process Control, Product Engineering and manufacturing personnel on all assigned projects
- Be available for off-shift support for all assigned instrumentation and plant automation systems
- C# and Visual Basic (VB) programming as necessary to support plant data collection system
- Perform hands-on instrumentation actions when necessary
- Specify, install, and set-up plant instrumentation
- Maintain and repair existing instrumentation / electronic equipment
- Keep accurate documentation records
- Assist & instruct others on plant instrumentation use
- Perform other duties as assigned/requested by management.
- Program and make adjustments to Fanuc robotic automation cells.
- S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent training from a technical school.
- Minimum of 5 years of Electronics/Controls experience
- Experience in theory, operation, and programming of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Experience with Human Machine Interface (HMI) packages.
- C# programming experience a plus
- Good analytical skills – able to evaluate people and problems
- Able to work well with others and under pressure
- Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills
