Under general supervision, mark parts and perform pre-packing functions on castings to assure conformance of casting to customer requirements following established safety and operating procedures in accordance with quality standards. Ensure that documentation, tooling and parts are correctly matched to paperwork.
Essential Job Functions:
For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $19.00/hr. to $20.00/hr. US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.

Mission:
Under general supervision, mark parts and perform pre-packing functions on castings to assure conformance of casting to customer requirements following established safety and operating procedures in accordance with quality standards. Ensure that documentation, tooling and parts are correctly matched to paperwork.
Essential Job Functions:
- Follow established housekeeping and safety practices to maintain the quality of the work. Adhere to plant and department safety rules.
- Work safely when lifting, use transport devices and get help on larger tools to bring tool to workstation.
- Using various hand tools, open and inspect and mount tools.
- Verify all parameters on paperwork.
- Return tool to proper storage location after cleaning.
- Identify and report safety problems
- Safely operate all equipment and tools.
- Demonstrate ability to log on main computer system, extract information, log time, enter inventory amount and forward to next operation.
- Program, design tooling, and perform set-ups of pin marking equipment, and offer instruction to lesser skilled people.
- Transport castings into and out of FID; responsible for verification of proper paper work for the area.
- Understand the Divisional Quality Policy, identify the location of the QCP'S, Quality System Manual, and OPC's and display a willingness and interest to learn through on‑the‑job training.
- Identify, mark castings, and inventory area stamps as required by specification, instructions, and/or tech cards.
- Count parts to ensure proper number of castings are sent to customer.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and records as required and verify correct procedures of those lesser skilled.
- Offer procedural improvements to Supervisor and assist other personnel as may be required.
- Responsible for calibration of all equipment in area (maintains appropriate records), and any discrepancies in counts or improper stamps, following QCPs and OPCs, or out of date marking conditions.
- Report any discrepancies, or out of date marking condition to supervisor.
- Operate pin marking equipment, vibro-etcher, and electro etcher.
- Successfully comply with Customer Acceptance Criteria on a consistent basis.
- Pack castings per customer requirements, without direct supervision, in a manner that will preclude castings from being damaged in shipment.
- A variety of inspection and part marking devises (Pin Stamp, Electro Etch, Hand stamp, etc.)
- Lifting devices (Lift tables, Cranes, Forklifts, etc)
- Various handtools (Pliers, Wrench, Profilometer, Scrapers and Knives, Measuring devices, Clippers, Scissors, )
- Experience and/or training are included in considerations.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, read, follow and interpret instructions on technique cards, code sheets as well as other verbal or written instructions.
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Able to use simple to complex measuring devices and fixtures.
- Physical ability to perform the essential job functions. Sitting or standing for an extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 35lbs frequently.
