We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Knock Out and Cut Off Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating various machines to remove shell materials from castings and using plasma torches and chop saws to cut metal castings. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and capable of handling physical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency. The U.S. export control regulations define a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), and certain categories of Asylees and Refugees.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Always wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for the required task.
- Operate ergonomic lifts to transfer, load, and unload castings into various machinery and equipment.
- Operate Knock Out cabinet (essentially an enclosed machine like a jackhammer that vibrates the casting shell loose).
- Operate Water Blast cabinet (industrial pressure washer).
- Utilize plasma torches and chop saws to cut metal castings accurately.
- Operate large grinding equipment to smooth casting surfaces.
- Inspect castings to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to production schedules and meet performance targets.
- Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to operate machinery such as plasma torches and chop saws.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly.
- Ability to understand and follow written instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures.
- Second shift. 2:30pm to 11:00pm
