The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and assisting with various accounting functions within a creative and research focused organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in payroll processing and tax compliance as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and improve efficiencies in accounting operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
