We are currently seeking a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST.
The Human Resources Specialist will be primarily responsible for supporting the staffing and recruiting process to ensure the company attracts and hires the best talent. This includes assisting with the employee hiring process by collaborating with hiring managers, conducting interviews, and extending job offers. Additionally, the HR Specialist will focus on employee engagement and retention, specifically through orientation and onboarding programs, to facilitate the seamless integration of new employees into the company. The HR Specialist will also support various tasks within the HR department, including employee relations, compliance, and data management.
The successful candidate will possess: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related liberal arts curriculum, or equivalent knowledge and experience. SHRM and/or HRCI certification or related certifications desirable. A minimum of five years of progressively responsible human resources experience, including experience in a heavy manufacturing environment. Excellent computer skills required. Must have a working knowledge of ERP and HRIS/payroll systems as well as Microsoft applications. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers. Knowledge of basic human relations principles and their application to practical problems. Working knowledge of employment-related regulatory issues. Ability to conceive ideas, plan and direct activities on complex administrative projects. Must demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation. Membership in professional organizations and/or community organizations is expected.
