Precision Concrete Cutting is the innovative leader in sidewalk safety and trip hazard repair. We deliver unmatched quality and are looking for that same quality to grow our Business Development team. The primary focus of the Assistant Project Manager (APM) is to work with a Business Development Manager to deliver projects to our clients. The PM will collaborate with the current account manager, Operations and Production Departments to deliver sidewalk assessment and repair projects.

The APM is expected to be a strategic thinker and listener. They comfortably prepare and deliver project report, analytics, and presentations in a professional manner. Must be able to effectively communicate clients’ expectations to other Departments in the company and ensure those expectations are met. A successful APM will build on his/her entrepreneurial spirit and be expected to regularly meet or exceed client expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities

The PCC APM is responsible for working with a BDM to understand client expectations and project specifications and work with our Production and Operations Departments to deliver to our client’s satisfaction.

· Set project timeline

· Monitor project deliverables

· Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress

· Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them

· Meet existing Municipal customers to understand project scope and details

· Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts

· Fully understand client expectations

· Communicate client expectations and project specifications to Production and Operations Staff

· Actively manage project to ensure client expectations and specifications are being met

· Prepare written proposal and deliver strategic sales presentations

· Process RFP’s and work orders, completing all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures

· Provide accurate and timely reports including forecasts and activities

· Act as liaison between assigned clients and field staff.

· As the Customer "steward", the successful candidate utilizes and coordinates all PCC resources/personnel to exceed customer needs from initial lead generation to post project follow up and quality control

· Diligently use and maintain customer information through Pipedrive

· Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics

· Stay informed of new developments in the Municipal market space

· Consistently build and maintain a robust network of business contacts within the industry, related associations and the assigned territory

Desired Skills and Experience

  • At least 2 years of outside project management experience, preferably within the construction, service industry or similar market segment
  • Ability to earn and maintain customer and team trust and respect
  • Ability to listen and learn about customer needs
  • Excellent customer service and listening skills
  • Excellent computer skills and ability to utilize MS Office effectively and efficiently
  • Demonstrated use of strategic selling tools, including Pipe Drive, PowerPoint, Excel and Social Media resources
  • An active and verifiable network of business contacts (preferably within the sales areas listed above)
  • High energy, unquestionable integrity and an ambition to succeed; only bounded by the guiding principle of always doing the right thing for the client
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executives within the customer organization
  • History of demonstrating the following competencies: Action Oriented, Business Acumen, Drive for Results, Interpersonal Savvy, Organizational Agility, Strategic Agility, Conflict Management and Teamwork
  • Photoshop, video edits and other graphic and visual skills a plus

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package comprised of base salary and bonus, calculated on performance and attainment of company goals. This position will be eligible for medical insurance and paid vacation. $25/HR.

Expected hours: 40 per week
