PCC is seeking immediate placement of a RIGGER HELPER for first (1st) shift. This position is part of a bargaining unit (union). Your hours will be Monday-Friday from 7:30AM-3:55PM. This position is part of a bargaining unit (union).
Position Requirements:
- Must have a current, valid driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Trade school graduate is a plus.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must have working knowledge of hand tools and general mechanical ability.
- Forklift experience and crane experience preferred. (Will be trained).
- Good communications skills, detail oriented and able to make good decisions.
- Must adhere to all Safety requirements and safe practices.
Expected Duties:
- Will be expected to perform minor lifts with all cranes within our facility. (Will be trained).
- Assist the Riggers as needed, this will include but not limited to, forklift assistance, crane assistance, and helping with rigging duties.
- Empty trash hoppers into the compactor, empty chip hoppers as needed.
- Driving company stake body truck to transfer product between buildings, as needed.
