Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Examiner/Inspector to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products through thorough inspection and testing processes. This is not an entry level position; experience and qualifications are required. Duties
- Must be able to perform MT / LP / VT in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.
- Skills and knowledge to interpret NDT requirements, codes, and standards required by contract specifications.
- Must be proficient with standard computer software such as MS Word, Excel.
- Must maintain a positive relationship with our customers.
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
Experience
- Must have prior MT / LP / VT Level III Examiner or NDT Level II MT / LP / VT Inspector experience.
- Minimum 3 years work experience in Quality, experience in performing non-destructive examination testing in a Commercial or Navy Nuclear environment preferred. Training and certification in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A or NSTR-99 to meet the requirements of NAVSEA T9074-AS-GIB-010/271, NAVSEA 250-1500-1 or MIL-STD-2132.
- Level III Examiner certification preferred; Level II Inspector certification required in either Magnetic Particle of Liquid Penetrant Testing.
- Working knowledge of Nuclear Quality Assurance Programs.
- Knowledge and experience with welding processes.
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen and background check.
- Must be a United States Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance.

Pay: $34.00 - $39.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
