Description
Precision Door Service (PDS) is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist who will administer a wide variety of people operations including multi-state human resources, benefit and leave administration to name a few. As a compliance expert, you’ll stay abreast of employment laws. As a technology & systems expert, you’ll own the HR system management, people data and be the point of contact for information and reporting. You’ll obsess over the employee experience, bring efficiency and the highest levels of service for our people throughout the employee lifecycle. In your spare time, you’ll help on a variety of small and major HR initiatives that will be fun, challenging, and make a giant impact. What you will do:
HR Operations & Systems
- Serve as a point of contact and resource on general HR questions, company policies, programs and processes to answer questions, resolve problems and involve or escalate to others as needed.
- Responsible for HR systems, administration, systems training, data integrity, integrations, maintenance and updates.
Employee Records & Compliance
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records in accordance with legal requirements across all physical and digital methods.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations while regularly monitoring regulatory changes that impact HR and proposing changes to processes as needed.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Responsible for annual compliance reporting and support for external audits.
Benefit Administration
- Oversee benefits administration including enrollment, changes, analysis, auditing, reconciliation, reporting and coordination of carriers, vendors and third-party administrators.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits plans, eligibility, and claims.
- Collaborate with payroll and ensure that employer contributions and payroll deductions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate open enrollment, benefit education and communication strategies.
Leave Management
- Administer and coordinate employee leaves including FMLA, ADA, and other leave claims, ensuring a smooth employee experience while maintaining compliance with leave policies and applicable labor laws.
Requirements
What you should bring:
- 3 years of progressive HR experience preferably in a Generalist, Coordinator or Share Services type role
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field.
- A track record of effectively managing HCM technology, shared services and/or benefits administration.
- Expert-level Microsoft Excel skillset including writing advanced formulas, analyzing large volumes of data, pivot-tables and macros.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Salary : $55,000 - $78,000
