Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Garage Door Installer to join our team in Savannah, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing and servicing residential garage doors, openers, and related components. This role requires daily interaction with customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $20–$25 per hour, operating under a piece rate system—your efficiency directly increases your earnings.
• Training Pay: $20 per hour during the training period; commission eligibility begins post-training. Training consists of 40 hours per week, with bi-weekly pay.
• Annual Earnings Potential: Up to $60,000 in your first year.
• 401(k) Plan: Eligibility after 90 days of employment.
• Medical Benefits: Company covers 75% of the employee premium, effective the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
• Vacation/PTO: One week of paid vacation after one year of service.
• Sick Time/PTO: Four paid sick days annually; major holidays are observed but unpaid.
• Vehicle: Company-provided truck (post-training) with gas card; vehicles can be taken home. Uniforms and a pants allowance are provided.
• Technology: Company-provided tablet for work purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the company vehicle, ensuring it is clean, fueled, and stocked with necessary materials and tools daily.
• Communicate with customers to provide estimated arrival times and deliver exceptional service.
• Install garage doors and associated components according to work orders and manufacturer instructions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, exceeding customer expectations.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork and collect payments as necessary.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and report any incidents promptly.
• Participate in required meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in garage door installation.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in garage door track alignment, adjustment, and component installation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
