What are the responsibilities and job description for the Silk Screener position at Precision Fabricated Components?
REQUIRED: MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST!
We are looking for an experienced silk screener. This individual will be responsible for making screens, press operations which include set up, quality assurance, and operator daily preventive maintenance as required. Responsible to produce high quality silk screen print jobs.
The silk screening that we do is on bare and powder coated metal parts. We would prefer you have experience in the metal silk screening field, however, as it is specialized - if you have only experience in general silk screening that is accepted.
Main Responsibilities:
- Reviews and completes specs from job travelers and layouts for accuracy.
- Sets up and adjusts press to meet job specifications.
- Monitors product for quality during job runs.
- Monitors equipment during job runs, remaining alert for mechanical problems.
- Follow approval procedures.
- Maintain a clean & neat work environment.
- Press clean up
- Track job time
- Complete required production quality inspections
- Adhere to safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as required as we are a small company and each member do various roles.
Experience
- 1 Year Manufacturing Silk Screen Press Experience Preferred
- Ability to work overtime when needed and other misc. jobs to help around the shop.
- Problem Solving Skills
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to follow through on all tasks/meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle pressure and deadline.
Employment Type/Hours: Full Time / 40hrs
Day Shift: Monday – Thursday 6:00AM - 4:30PM
Overtime as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
