Summary:
Title: Maintenance Associate - Electrical/Mechanical – 2nd Shift
Location: Greensboro Plant
We are looking for dependable, honest and hardworking individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has a positive attitude, solid work ethic and enjoys working with others to produce a quality product.
Skillset:
- Ability to do the following:
- Work safely
- Use and follow lock-out practices
- Keep work area safe, neat and clean
- Understand and use barriers to keep work areas safe
- Assist in major equipment repair
- Execute work orders and fill out as required. Enter completed task (non-work order) on log sheets
- Wear required personal protective equipment for all job tasks
- Perform other work as requested by supervisor or manager
- Effectively communicate job status to involved parties
- Install, clean, repair, replace, assemble and lubricate mechanical equipment such as fans, conveyors, elevators, dock boards, pumps, mechanical doors, compressors, tanks, finishing equipment, tenter frames and ovens
- Use hand tools and power tools
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience
- Keep accurate spare part usage; document parts consumed
- Safely operate a forklift
- Safely operator a scissor lift
- Safely use a ladder
- While working overhead, ensure everything below is protected
- Understand and use barriers to keep work areas safe
- Must work well with others
- Available to work 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm Monday - Friday; overtime as needed
