Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and configuring hardware for space vehicles. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-value space hardware.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement efficient design processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
- Maintain and improve CAD-based tools to improve standardization, efficiency and uniform application of design features
- Manage multiple complex projects at the same time
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
- Fluency in SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional with administration, data base and workflow development experience in a production environment
- Demonstrated 10 years experience in mechanical design with appropriate certification or education
