Position Summary :
This position will lead strategy and implementation for the marketing of the Clinical Solutions group at Precision for Medicine (PFM.) The Clinical Solutions group supports the pharma and biotech industries by designing and running global clinical trials that accelerate the development of new treatments. Our group has an impressive track record of helping pharma and biotech companies succeed in getting breakthrough treatments to patients!
We compete with Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) who offer similar services. This team member will be a leader in the development and execution of a marketing strategy for the comprehensive services of the Clinical Solutions group in the US and EU. The position will conceptualize and amplify branding and marketing initiatives designed to raise awareness, establish industry leadership, promote our CRO services and most importantly, create a marketing mix that works to generate qualified leads for our business development team.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to :
Work with business leaders to establish the marketing strategy for the Precision for Medicine, Clinical Solutions Team. Lead the development and implementation of campaigns and tacticsLead development of an annual marketing plan and manage implementation of tactics, timelines and budgetsDevelop and execute project plans for all aspects of marketing plan including :
Marketing plans and advertising campaigns specific to the distinct audiences for Clinical Solutions trial services in the US and EUManagement of conference strategy and contentPromotional activities such as webinars and thought leadership videosTargeted lead generation campaigns that create Sales Qualified Leads for Business Development-deploying through traditional and multiple digital channels, using account-based marketing techniques
Create and manage an annual marketing roadmap to operationalize and deliver campaigns and tactics at a steady cadenceCollaborate on brand positioning and company messaging based on market trends and competition, targeting drug developers in need of a specialized CRO. Highlight differentiators in support of business goals.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts on content marketing asset creation and promotion (case studies, articles, white papers, webinars and more)Work closely with the US and XUS business development teams, enabling them to meet their sales objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentation materialsAssist the CMO in managing and refining social media presenceAssist the CMO in supervision of outside vendors for online media strategy and media buying including SEM, display ads, retargeting ads and advertising with publicationsSupervise website enhancements for key servicesIdentify and manage opportunities for media relationsHelp evangelize marketing collaborations and team accomplishments across the organizationAnalyze marketing / sales data to optimize campaign outcomes in support a culture of innovation and accountability
Leverage existing and acquired customer data to inform decision making on target audience, tactics and allotment of resourcesReport on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using pre-determined KPIsProvide content updates to the Clinical Solutions portion of the PFM website, monitor and report on website leadsQualifications :
Minimum Required :
Bachelor's degree (or its international equivalent) or equivalent in a business, scientific or healthcare discipline, or be a licensed health care professionalMinimum of 20 years of experience in a strong marketing role or relatable field10 years or more in the CRO / Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry, strong knowledge of the Clinical Research Organization (CRO) sector and services12 years as a functional managerOther Required :
Experience working in life sciences is required; experience as a marketing leader within a CRO is highly preferredExperience in managing and motivating teamsCompetences : Possesses a keen understanding of CRO services and the customers who buy those services
Strategic thinker with a track record of marketing success at a CRO or in the life sciencesStrong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written); must be able to build relationships with multiple stakeholders and SMEs - many whom are virtualRobust experience in KPI-driven, multi-channel campaigns including SEM, SEO, social media and content marketingExperience with B2B content development for the multiple stages in the customer journey-and deploying that content across channels for engagement and salesExperience with customer personas / ideal customer profiles to create targeted campaigns for optimal engagementExperience with email campaigns and automated marketing systems that deploy and track targeted and drip campaigns such as HubSpotAnalytical skill to turn marketplace data into tactical marketing recommendationsExperience in working with business development / sales teams in a sales enablement capacityAbility to manage various projects simultaneously with a drive for quality and timelinessSets strategic plans and drives execution
Results-oriented and experienced with reporting out on marketing KPIs using Salesforce or similar tools

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to : skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
