As a Sales and Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise in the repair and replacement of residential garage doors, garage door openers, and related components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of residential garage doors and garage door openers to identify areas for improvement or necessary repairs
- Provide multiple alternative recommendations for repair and replacement of mechanical and/or electric parts as needed
- Install, maintain, and repair residential garage doors and garage door openers with accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements
- Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in sales and service technician roles, preferably in the garage door industry
- Strong knowledge of garage door systems, including mechanical and electric components
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
