Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various installation tasks, including remodeling, framing and mechanical skills, any over head Garage door experience and installation. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power tools effectively. As an Installation Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Perform tasks for commercial and residential garage door repair and replacement and new installation.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete jobs efficiently.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required, loading and unloading trucks.
- Fabricate components on-site to meet specific project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Construction, mechanical or related fields required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in installation tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as part of job duties.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Needs to be self motivated, trainable and willing to learn.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 43 per week
