Position Overview:
We're seeking a Sales Engagement and Online Community Specialist, committing to 20 to 25 hours weekly. This pivotal role aims to broaden our brand's impact and boost sales via strategic engagement across online forums and social media platforms, such as Facebook and LinkedIn. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of our products and customer needs across various livestock species.
Responsibilities extend to collaborating with our sales team on lead follow-ups from diverse sources, including online engagement, shows, and traditional marketing. The role also includes direct support in order fulfillment and sales tracking. This position presents an opportunity for growth into a full-time role as PHT grows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire detailed knowledge of our products and the unique requirements of different livestock species to effectively engage with potential customers.
- Develop and execute an online engagement strategy for forums and social media to amplify product awareness and drive sales.
- Collaborate with the sales team for thorough follow-up on all leads, irrespective of the source, enhancing the sales pipeline and conversion rates.
- Assist in the order fulfillment process, manage customer inquiries regarding orders, and ensure a seamless buying experience.
- Monitor sales activities, track outcomes, and leverage data to refine and optimize sales and engagement strategies continually.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, or related fields, showcasing a strong foundation in marketing principles and the livestock and Show Animals sector.
- Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, online community engagement, and sales, with a keen understanding of the animal health or livestock management industry a significant advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with diverse online communities and potential customers.
- Independent, self-starting attitude, with the capacity to initiate and drive projects to completion without direct oversight.
- Proficiency in order fulfillment and sales tracking processes, with a comprehensive understanding of the sales cycle from start to finish.
Work Hours & Benefits:
Part-time requiring 20 to 25 hours per week, offering the potential for full-time employment. Competitive hourly wage reflective of experience and qualifications. Hybrid Remote work flexibility.
