Description
The Office Practice Supervisor is responsible for managing the administrative and operational aspects of a medical practice, including staff supervision, patient relations, scheduling, billing, and regulatory compliance. They work closely with healthcare providers to ensure smooth office workflow and excellent patient care
- Office Operations Management : Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency in scheduling, patient flow, and administrative processes.
- Staff Supervision : Manage and train front office and administrative staff, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee staff schedules.
- Patient Experience : Ensure a high level of customer service, handle patient inquiries or complaints, and improve overall patient satisfaction.
- Billing & Financial Oversight : Monitor medical billing, coding, and insurance claims, ensuring compliance with billing regulations.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure the practice complies with HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations.
- Inventory & Supplies : Oversee ordering and management of office and medical supplies.
- Technology & Systems : Maintain and optimize the use of EMR and practice management software.
- Reporting & Performance Improvement : Generate reports on financial performance, patient volume, and operational efficiency to inform decision-making.
- Collaboration with Providers : Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to support efficient clinical workflows.
