Mammography Tech Positions: Sign-On Bonus Eligible!

Position Overview

As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammograms with high-quality images. You will follow physician protocols, properly position patients, and ensure safe procedures. You may also be required to assist disabled patients as needed.

Essential Job Functions

• Position patients to obtain high-quality mammogram images in a timely manner (70%)
• Perform QC/QA of equipment as indicated (10%)
• Complete history and exams properly in the RIS system to avoid delays in reports (10%)
• Proactively monitor the schedule and notify the appropriate parties for any necessary adjustments (10%)
  
  

Non-Essential Job Functions

• Adhere to the Radiologic Technologist Code of Ethics
• Identify and provide solutions for challenges in department workflow
• Knowledge of ACR processes and MQSA regulations
• Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain department cleanliness, stock supplies, and manage laundry for the next shift
• Treat all coworkers with respect
• Anticipate business needs and provide proactive solutions
• Accept responsibility for results, timelines, and completeness

Requirements

Education Required

• ARRT registered in Mammography
• FL State License
• MQSA compliant for Digital and 3D Mammography
• BLS Certification
  
  

Previous Related Work Experience

• 2 years of experience required

• Ability to work on your feet for the duration of your shift
• Ability to bend/reach while positioning difficult patients
