Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing light-duty MIG, TIG, spot welding, and automated laser welding on alloy and carbon steel materials. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products while meeting production deadlines.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG, TIG, spot welding, and automated laser welding on alloy and carbon steel components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions to ensure proper welding techniques and specifications are followed.
  • Set up and operate manual and automated welding equipment to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to ensure welds meet industry standards and company specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with assembly teams, supervisors, and quality control personnel to ensure production goals are met.
  • Troubleshoot minor welding equipment issues and report maintenance needs as required.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of welding materials, PPE usage, and machine operation protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment required.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, spot welding, and automated laser welding techniques.
  • Experience working with alloy and carbon steel materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Basic understanding of welding safety practices and equipment maintenance.
  • Welding certifications) is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • Exposure to heat, sparks, and noise in a welding environment (PPE provided).

Salary : $20 - $25
