What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at Precision Landscape & Irrigation LLC?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The General Laborer at Precision Landscape is responsible for building and constructing landscapes and is the foundation of the production process. They will work closely with the Crew Lead, Field Supervisor and/or Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while focusing on delivering a quality product to our clients.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
· Closely follows direction to operate various tools and equipment, including shovels, saws, levels, compactors, skid steers, trenchers, etc., and loading and unloading items/materials
· Cleans and lubricates equipment, maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away tools as assigned.
· Cares for property by cutting grass, repairing yard, pulling, and discarding weeds, or shoveling and removing snow.
· Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.
· May be trained to operate a skid steer when normal operator is out.
· Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

§ Desire and willingness to learn the landscaping trade.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
· Experience in the landscape/construction industry preferred.
· Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Work outdoors in various conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold.
· Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
· Capable of lifting 50 pounds repeatedly and assist on job sites as necessary.
· Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials.
