As a seasonal Irrigation Technician for Precision Landscape you will play a vital role in helping us meet the demands of our customers and ensuring a successful season from mid-March to mid-September. While this position is seasonal, it is our goal to provide high-performing seasonal employees who align with our company culture an opportunity to move into a permanent Full-Time position. Responsibilities
Turf Management:
Apply fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other turf treatments according to established schedules and safety guidelines.
Diagnose and treat turf diseases, insect infestations, and weed problems.
Perform routine mowing, edging, and trimming of lawns and other turf areas.
Conduct aeration, seeding, and overseeding operations.
Monitor turf health and identify potential issues.
Calibrate and maintain application equipment.
Customer Service:Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
Answer client questions and provide recommendations on turf care.
Maintain accurate records of services performed.
Communicate with supervisors regarding job progress and any issues.
Equipment Maintenance:Maintain and clean equipment, including mowers, sprayers, and spreaders.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
Safety:Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Properly handle and store chemicals and other materials.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Other tasks as assigned by Manager
Qualifications

Previous experience in turf care or landscaping preferred.
Knowledge of turf management practices, including fertilization, weed control, and pest management.
Ability to operate and maintain turf care equipment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Pesticide applicator's license (or ability to obtain one) preferred.
Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
$20.00 per hour to start
