Job Description:
Precision Lift Gate Inc., the premier lift gate sales and service company in the Pacific Northwest, is growing and actively seeking an applicant who would like to join our team in the Parts Department.
Previous parts experience is preferred, however, experience in the lift gate field is not necessary.
Strong procurement and distribution candidates considered.
We are looking for an individual who has good skills pertaining to parts requests, research, ordering, in-house distribution, shipping, inventory maintenance and restocking. Successful candidate will be required to search for and procure factory parts from the manufacturers of all types of lift gates.
Parts Specialist Job Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service both over the phone and at the front counter
- Answer incoming parts calls.
- Research and fill parts requests.
- Adhere to parts ordering, write-up, delivery, and follow-up processes.
- Place orders with suppliers and process orders for shipment, delivery, or pick up.
- Communicate with vendors.
- Receiving and stocking.
- Fulfillment and delivery.
- Maintain and track inventory.
- Help facilitate and track parts sales.
- Perform general housekeeping around your area.
Assist with any other tasks as assigned.
Preferred skills for this position include:
- Computer literacy, excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask efficiently, and attention to details.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working as an active team member to complete team goals.
Although not required, the following skills are valuable:
Forklift operation.
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
A gracious and fun personality!
Position is day shift.
Both indoor and some outdoor work required year-round.
Full-time initial pay scale will be based on previous experience that could be utilized during training for this position.
