Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by effectively managing inquiries and providing support related to logistics and transportation management. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to analyze information, and familiarity with various transportation management systems.

Duties

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding logistics and transportation services.
  • Utilize software systems such as AS400, SyteLine, and Oracle Transportation Management to manage customer accounts and track shipments.
  • Analyze customer needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance service delivery.
  • Collaborate with dispatching teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the system.
  • Assist in transportation planning by coordinating with internal teams to optimize routes and schedules.
  • Leverage GIS tools to provide customers with real-time updates on their shipments.
  • Resolve any issues or complaints efficiently while maintaining a positive relationship with customers.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, particularly within the logistics or transportation industry, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess situations and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with customers and team members.
  • Experience with dispatching or transportation planning will be considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in using software tools related to logistics operations is highly desirable.

Pay: $14.81 - $15.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
