Precision Manufacturing Group, a fabricator of precision metal parts, is seeking an experienced Part Time Office Manager that can help us excel in quality, productivity, and value. The candidate must be able to be self-sufficient in performing his/her various duties. This position requires working for various industries such as tool and die, furniture, consumer goods, heavy equipment, oil, defense work, etc.

Responsible for overseeing daily office activities to ensure smooth operations of the organization. Works with all department teams.

Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Answers multi-line telephone, takes accurate messages, and screens/directs telephone calls in a professional manner.
  • Processes accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Performs routine administrative functions including word processing correspondence, memos, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Processes incoming mail to include sorting and distributing to appropriate individuals.
  • Calculates and enters payroll into computer system. Coordinates with Payroll Company.
  • Tracks longevity increases, vacation time, sick time, payroll deductions, status changes and employee evaluations, and keep management informed.
  • Coordinates all aspects of Human Resource Management. (Handbook, policy’s, new employee forms, foreign visa paperwork, etc.)
  • Maintains personnel files in an organized and accessible manner to include updating information along with filing correspondence and other related information in a timely manner.
  • Processes Workers' Compensation claims by assuring all paperwork is filled out confirming status of employee.
  • Acts as Benefits Administrator to include completing appropriate paperwork and processing updates as needed for employee health, dental, disability and 401K plans.
  • Inventories and orders office supplies and equipment as directed.

Education/Experience:

Associates degree or better; Prior general office experience helpful.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Valid Driver’s License
