SUMMARY
The Account Manager is responsible for building & maintaining customer relationships while managing day to day strategic and tactical account requirements (Retail Products & Customers specific). This person will also be tasked with duties related to a receptionist & production support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Account Manager
- Identifying customers’ needs and providing solutions that meet those needs by providing product knowledge and services
- Working with suppliers to ensure that product availability meets customer demand
- Developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers
- Interacting with customers by providing product information, answering questions, and resolving concerns or issues.
- Communicating regularly with merchandising personnel to ensure that all customer needs are met
- Performing administrative tasks such as preparing reports, updating records, and processing customer requirements in specified customer systems/websites
Receptionist/ Production Support
- Develops and maintains office forms and procedures and assists with administrative tasks.
- Answers central telephone system and directs calls accordingly
- Receives the public and answers questions, in person and by telephone; responds to inquires from employees, citizens and others and refers, when necessary, to the appropriate person.
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail
- Composes, types and edits correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material
- Assists public with the use of department facilities
- Maintains office supply inventory
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience in Account management
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Appropriate product and process knowledge
- Computer system/program acumen
