Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in assembly line operations. As an Assembler II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes by utilizing various tools and techniques to fabricate components and assemble products.
Job Description
All applicants must successfully pass a drug test and if hired will be subject to an E-Verification screening.
Schedule:
The current work schedule is 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday. Subject to change at discretion of employer according to production.
Pay Rate Range: $14.50 – 18.00 Hourly
Job Summary
o Assemble complex furniture components according to specifications.
o Assembly at the required rate per day according to production planning.
o Reading and understanding instructions and following established procedures
o Collecting all material and equipment needed to begin the process.
o Taking precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components.
o Ability to train a new hire on job duties of an Assembler I.
Essential Functions of Job
o All job duties assigned to an Assembler I
o Ability to help lead the set up and prep line for production daily.
o Basic understanding of more complex frames.
o General knowledge of blueprint instructions and following established procedures.
o Select or change components according to measurements and specifications.
o Align material and put together parts to build more complex units.
o Stretch webbing application.
o Correctly label product.
o Check output to ensure the highest quality, along with consistently exceeding the given
production rate for each frame.
o Maintain equipment in good condition.
o Keep records of production quantities and time
o Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts
Education and Qualifications
o Proven to have mastered all duties as an assembler I
o Technical knowledge and ability to read more complex blueprints & drawings.
o Good understanding of quality control principles and proven experience of this understand in current job role.
o Ability to use tools (ex. clamps) and machines (ex. presses)
o Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
o Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
o Ability to lift 50lbs. or less without assistance.
o High school diploma. A higher educational degree from a technical school is valuable.
