Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive and heavy equipment issues
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to dismantle, repair, and assemble diesel engines
- Conduct electrical repairs and installations on vehicles
- Inspect and test vehicle systems to ensure proper functioning
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
Skills:
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Familiarity with power tools and their safe usage
- Strong electrical skills for diagnosing and repairing electrical systems
- Ability to work with transmissions and perform transmission repairs
- Experience in vehicle maintenance, including farm machinery
- Skilled mechanic with the ability to assemble and disassemble engine components
