SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the issuing, receiving, and storing of tools, gauges, and other equipment. Keeps an inventory of tools, inspects tools and equipment for wear or defects, and orders new equipment when needed. Maintains records of tool use.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to the Company's Quality Management System to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Perform special assignments as directed by supervision commensurate with experience.

- Receives, stores, and issues tooling, gauges, and other equipment. Issues tools and equipment to workers and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned, manually or using computer.
- Locates lost or misplaced tooling, gauges, and other equipment.
- Perform inventory as required.
- Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tooling, gauges, and other equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
- Inspects tooling, gauges, and other equipment for defects and wear, visually or using microscope, and reports damage or wear to supervisors.
- May deliver tooling, gauges, or other equipment to work centers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
