What are the responsibilities and job description for the Back Office Dental Assistant position at Precision Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery?
Precision Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, vibrant, back office assistant. Someone with all the necessary industry certifications and education, as an oral surgery dental assistant. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated and a TEAM player who is willing to cross-train with opportunities to learn our entire business. You will be asked to bring a can-do attitude, a proactive nature, a strong sense of ownership and integrity, and the constant desire to learn and grow.
Dental Specialty:
- Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (1 year required)
Responsibilities:
- Taking records, impressions, or x-rays
- Sterilization and tray setups
- Assisting in surgical procedures, including IV sedation
- Monitoring vitals of patient during and after sedation procedures, as well as recovery
- Patient education including consultations, pre and post-operative instructions
- Organizing and restocking
- Working with EMR based system
Schedule:
· Monday to Friday
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- CPR (BLS) certified
- ACLS certified - within 90 Days
- DAANCE
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Highly motivated
- Looking for a long-term commitment
** DSN Practice Management System experience a plus
