Job Summary:
Precision Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, a leading private practice in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area, is actively seeking full-time, board-eligible/board-certified Orthopedic Surgeons to join our team in several of our locations across the region, with a generous signing bonus available for our Cumberland, MD, or La Plata, MD locations.
Locations: Bowie, MD; Cumberland, MD ; La Plata, MD ; Prince Frederick, MD ; Woodbridge, VA
Duties:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to diagnose orthopedic conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Perform surgical procedures to repair or reconstruct injured joints or bones.
- Prescribe medications and recommend physical therapy as part of the treatment plan as needed.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate patients on preventive measures and post-treatment care.
- Call shifts at local hospitals.
- Performing eligible surgical cases at ASCs.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD, DO) from an accredited school of medicine.
- Residency in orthopedic surgery.
- Orthopedic Fellowship in areas such as adult reconstruction, upper extremity, or sports medicine.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Orthopedics.
- Current Maryland medical license or ability to get one prior to employment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
