Paint Repair Technician
Precision Painting, a Division of Patrick Industries is located in Bremen, Indiana and is one of the area’s leading paint shops. We specialize in custom RV, trailer, and motorhome paint jobs and are currently seeking Experienced Paint Repair Technicians for our growing facility.
Paint Repair Technicians who work at Precision will be repairing paint on top of the line fiberglass RV’s, trailers, Motorhomes, and other like products with a Customer 1st Focus, ensuring that all products sent to Customers meet their full expectations. Paint Repair Technicians will be performing production tasks of base, layout, accent, clear, and repair.
Specific Requirements
- Communicating with employers and other employees to plan and execute custom paint jobs to meet Customer’s needs
- The painting process itself involves using HVLP and/or RP sprayers to apply paint to a unit, determining the necessary application of paint for a thorough coat and checking for runs or sags in the paint to ensure a quality product
- Applying base coat, layout, accent colors, and repairing unit
- Operating, cleaning and maintaining all painting equipment
- Inspecting own work to confirm that the paint has been properly applied and settled
- Must be able to Repair paint from start to finish by performing all applicable skills.
Requirements
- Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year experience working in production paint repair
- Reading renderings and understanding work orders
- Ability to operate and use required tools and equipment skillfully and safely
- Follow written and oral directions given by supervisor
- Ability to meet Companies quality standards in performance and procedure.
- Ability to perform various paint related tasks as needed.
- Ability to inspect paint and have a detailed understanding of paint processes.
- Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties.
- Physical demands of the position include: climbing a ladder and/or scaffold, reaching, twisting, bending, squatting, walking, pulling, pushing, grasping, and standing throughout the duration of the shift

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
