Duties
- Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Fabricate and package chemical products according to established procedures and specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and processes to identify any issues or areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch numbers, quantities produced, and quality control measures.
- Adhere to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to ensure product quality and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing techniques that enhance productivity.
- Utilize forklifts for materials handling within the warehouse as needed.
- Assist in laboratory testing of products to confirm compliance with quality standards.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry best practices and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chemical Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of materials handling processes and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is highly desirable.
- Experience in laboratory environments is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not required at hiring.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
