Position Summary:
Cathodic Protection Testers survey and evaluate the effectiveness of Cathodic Protection systems
A Cathodic Protection Tester - must:
- Be willing/able to walk 3-5 miles per day
- Be willing/able to partake short term travel for projects
- Be knowledgeable of Cathodic Protection principles and testing equipment
- Have basic understanding in the fields of mathematics, electrical fundamentals, chemistry
- Have basic understanding and skills in the use of hand tools
- Be organized and proficient in the ability to gather data, maintain records and prepare reports

Requirements:Qualifications:
- Entry Level Position – Will train
- Willing to obtain NGA Cathodic Protection related qualifications or equivalent
- Willing to obtain AMPP Certification as a Corrosion Tester, CP Level 1 or higher.
- Valid driver’s license for at least 1 year
- Must have the ability to safely operate a motorized vehicle.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to climb, balance, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push and/or pull, twist and make repetitive hand movements. Ability to load, carry, lift, push and/or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Sitting or standing for prolonged period of time required.
- Effective communication skills and ability to speak clearly with team members
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Ability to act with integrity and respect of personal and public property
- Ability to work in all types of weather
