ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE

JOB SUMMARY
The Account Representative position manages financial transactions, ensures accurate record-keeping, and supports overall financial operations. The position is responsible for processing invoices, managing payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial documentation. Ideal candidate will be attentive, thorough, and committed to maintaining strong attention to detail.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Audits inventory
- Monitors company and business email, messages, and other communication systems and promptly responds to clients.
- Creates and distributes invoices and records all transactions relating to client payments.
- Audits all client files to maintain accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborates with a variety of different departments to better serve the clients’ needs such as the Accounting and Marketing Departments
- Enters accounts payable data invoices into the accounting system.
- Verifies information as needed pertaining to accounts payable invoices.
- Creates invoices according to company practices, submits invoices to customers.
- Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, or mailing attentions.
- Communicates with customers and vendors to answer questions or to gather necessary information (via telephone or email)
- Assists with inventory management (product counts) utilizing an inventory tracking system.
- Runs required financial reports for internal use, distributes and files according to procedures.
- Has an attitude of continuous self-improvement and optimize the processes around the above items.
- Takes on additional projects as workload allows

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to compile information into unified reports.

- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Proficient personal computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

- Ability to work with deadlines independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to prioritize, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- 1-3 years of experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to travel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.60 per hour
