Description
The Service Plumbing Technician reports directly to the President of Plumbing & Mechanical Services.
A Service Plumbing Technician is responsible for the following:
Timely execution of service and repair orders both commercial and residential given by the Field Operations Manager or President that may include:
- Ability to self-direct at most times to complete the objectives of a given project
- Installation and repair of a variety of fixtures, piping and assorted plumbing products
- Ability to lead and direct Apprentices and Helpers
- Jackhammering/concrete removal
- Dirt and gravel removal
- Digging to expose plumbing, lines and other serviceable parts
- Loading and unloading of materials
- Running parts from warehouse, supply houses and more
- Job site cleanup and tool removal and security
- Any other tasks given by management
The Service Plumbing Technician is a crucial member of the team. A successful candidate for this position must demonstrate:
- Sufficient Education/Experience Level equating to a Journeyman
- Leadership and desire to teach Apprentices and Helpers
- Efficient time management
- A person who is positive and energetic.
- Valid In-State Driver's License Required
- No experience is necessary but helpful
- Licensing not required but a desire to become licensed is a plus
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs and above
- Pass all pre-employment screening
- Present themselves professionally at all times
