What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Install Apprentice position at Precision Plumbing, Heating & Air?
Precision is a residential plumbing, heating, air conditioning and electrical service company based in Boulder, Colorado and has been in business since 1982. We are looking to bring on an Electrical Service Technician onto our team. No experience required, but experience can provide opportunities for higher pay and management opportunities! Paid training included. We have a on-site training facility with paid and/or reimbursement programs for licensing and schooling. Full time year round work, and we do not lay off or furlough. This is a professional business.
The primary duties of an Install Technician are to perform retrofit replacements for HVAC systems. Working in crews to remove and replace furnaces and air conditioners. Safety and performance tests are conducted for each system(s) as well as checking the area for carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks. A heavy emphasis is placed on customer service. Daily tasks include the technical aspect of the job, collecting payments, giving accurate and detailed information about each home and situation, maintaining truck inventory levels, among others. Communication with homeowners about the status of their system after the service has been performed.
