What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Service Technician position at Precision Plumbing, Heating & Air?
Precision is a residential plumbing, heating, air conditioning and electrical service company based in Boulder, Colorado and has been in business since 1982. We are looking to bring on several full-time members to be on our team. No experience required, but experience can provide opportunities for higher pay and management opportunities! Paid training included. We have a on-site training facility with paid and/or reimbursement programs for licensing and schooling. Full time year round work, and we do not lay off or furlough. This is a professional business. Hourly compensation with bonus incentive included.
The primary duties of a Service Technician are to perform maintenance checks and services for HVAC systems. Troubleshooting various residential systems and diagnosing repair options. Safety and performance tests are conducted for each system(s) as well as checking the area for carbon monoxide and natural gas leaks. A heavy emphasis is placed on customer service. Daily tasks include the technical aspect of the job, collecting payments, giving accurate and detailed information about each home and situation, maintaining truck inventory levels, communication with homeowners about the status of their system after the service has been performed, among others.
