Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections on parts for first piece, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize vision inspection systems and coordinate measuring machines for accurate assessments.
- Conduct measurements using calipers and other precision instruments to verify product dimensions.
- Document inspection results and maintain detailed records of quality metrics.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in the development and improvement of quality systems to enhance product reliability.
- Maintain and keep inspection office organized, clean, and up to date with all gauge calibrations.
Skills
- Proficiency in quality inspection techniques and methodologies.
- Experience with vision inspection systems and coordinate measuring machines.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC processes and practices.
- Ability to fabricate components as needed for testing purposes.
