What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ladder Assist/Field Adjuster (1099 position) position at Precision Public Adjusting?
As a 1099 Field Adjuster with Precision Public Adjusting (PPA), you will play a crucial role in ensuring that property owners receive fair treatment during the insurance claims process. You will be representing homeowners and businesses at adjuster meetings and site inspections to ensure the insurance company’s due diligence. This role offers some flexibility, allowing you to narrow down your assigned appointments while helping people get back to their homes and businesses faster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend 4 to 5 adjuster meetings and/or Attempts to Repair per day (on average), ensuring proper evaluation of damage.
- Act as the homeowner’s advocate by verifying that the insurance adjuster conducts a thorough and fair inspection.
- Take detailed notes, mark up damaged areas (roofs and collateral), and create comprehensive photo reports to submit for further claim handling.
- Maintain communication with the office regarding scheduling and reports.
- Balance multiple tasks, including phone calls, scheduling, and report submission, while working independently in the field.
- Uploading collected information/photos into our CRM.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Must have experience climbing roofs, performing roofing inspections and identifying roof damage.
- Insurance Experience: Experience in the insurance field is a HUGE PLUS.
- Bilingual: Ability to speak Spanish is a HUGE PLUS.
- Customer Service: Passionate about delivering excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using technology to document inspections and communicate with the team.
- Personality: You thrive in fast-paced environments, are detail-oriented, punctual, and enjoy meeting new people in the field.
